IT Director
The IT Director is responsible for the management, strategy, and execution of IT infrastructure for the organization. Develop a strategy as it relates to the organization's IT infrastructure (computer and information systems, security, communication systems). Responsible for managing our technology infrastructure and ensuring seamless digital operations.
Responsibilities
Oversee IT systems and network infrastructure, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and up-to-date
Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to support the organization's goals and ensure data integrity.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to staff and volunteers.
Collaborate with the team to identify technology needs and implement innovative solutions.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and recommend upgrades or advancements as needed.
Provide direction, guidance, and training to IT staff.
Required to attend all Staff meetings as well as production meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
Proven experience in IT management or a related field.
Strong knowledge of network administration, cybersecurity, and cloud-based technologies.
Proficiency in hardware and software troubleshooting.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining data security and privacy.
Passion for the nonprofit's mission and a commitment to leveraging technology for positive impact.
Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network, and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with team members across the entire organization
Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and projects.
