IT Director

The IT Director is responsible for the management, strategy, and execution of IT infrastructure for the organization. Develop a strategy as it relates to the organization's IT infrastructure (computer and information systems, security, communication systems). Responsible for managing our technology infrastructure and ensuring seamless digital operations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee IT systems and network infrastructure, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and up-to-date

  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to support the organization's goals and ensure data integrity.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to staff and volunteers.

  • Collaborate with the team to identify technology needs and implement innovative solutions.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and recommend upgrades or advancements as needed.

  • Provide direction, guidance, and training to IT staff.

  • Required to attend all Staff meetings as well as production meetings.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications

  • Proven experience in IT management or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of network administration, cybersecurity, and cloud-based technologies.

  • Proficiency in hardware and software troubleshooting.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining data security and privacy.

  • Passion for the nonprofit's mission and a commitment to leveraging technology for positive impact.

  • Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network, and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with team members across the entire organization

  • Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and projects.

Condition of Volunteerism

  • Must sign a Confidentiality Agreement.

  • Must be flexible to volunteer evenings and weekends as needed.

  • Must complete and/or sign all volunteer or independent paperwork. Independent contractors must complete an MOU, and W9.
