Our Impact
Our Purpose
Both Sides of the Conversation is a 501c3 that leverages open dialogue to explore the challenges and barriers impacting Black and Brown communities. Through innovative programming, we connect, reflect, and develop pathways for collective healing.
We believe in the healing power of relational trust.
We achieve this through mentorship…
BSOTC addresses the disproportionate impact of poverty and systemic racism on Black and Brown youth. We acknowledge the history of institutional oppression in our communities, and combat the school to prison pipeline to minimize risk factors and support youth who are likely to become disconnected from school and involved in the juvenile justice system. Our one-on-one and group mentoring program connects youth with caring adults who help to navigate the challenges and opportunities of adolescence, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
We achieve this through community engagement…
BSOTC engages the community through community initiatives and projects and collaborative outreach. A few of our past events include: Unhoused Community feed, Family Skate Night, and our Annual African American History Bowling Event!
