Our Programs

Youth Mentorship

The Both Sides of Healing Mentoring Program nurtures cultural connections and meaningful relationships for male-identified youth ages 12-17. Our 16-week cohort supports youth with mentorship that models effective social skills, power sharing, and non-violent communication. Mentors apply a project-based learning framework to build a sense of belonging, cultivate a positive self-perception, and strengthen self-confidence to mitigate self-harming behaviors. Themes explore cultural issues that are relevant in our community and help youth examine negative stereotypes that impact identity development.
