Marketing Director
The Marketing Director will oversee the BSOTC’s promotion and advertising efforts to build brand awareness strengthening the relationship between BSOTC and the community. Job duties often include communicating information to the public or volunteers. Their responsibilities include developing an overall marketing plan.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute marketing strategies to raise awareness of the nonprofit's mission and digital media programs.
Manage digital marketing campaigns across various platforms to increase visibility and audience engagement.
Collaborate with the team to create compelling content for social media, newsletters, and promotional materials.
Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to optimize strategies and reach target audiences effectively.
Cultivate partnerships with other organizations to expand the nonprofit's reach and impact.
Manage and execute email communications programs, including bi-weekly e-newsletters, campaign messages and fundraising e-appeals.
Required to attend all Staff meetings as well as marketing and production meetings.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
Proven experience in marketing, particularly in digital media or related fields.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative marketing approaches.
Passion for the nonprofit's mission and commitment to making a positive impact through digital media initiatives.
Condition of Volunteerism
Must sign a Confidentiality Agreement.
Must be flexible to volunteer evenings and weekends as needed.
Must complete and/or sign all volunteer or independent paperwork. Independent contractors must complete an MOU, and W9.
