Bookkeeper

As the Bookkeeper, you will oversee the organization’s financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. May also assist with basic HR duties like new hire documents and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Process financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.

  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.

  • Assist in preparing financial reports for the board of directors and stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

  • Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.

  • Provides reports to the Executive Director and Board Members regularly.

  • Attend all staff meetings.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Condition of Volunteerism

  • Must sign a Confidentiality Agreement.

  • Must be flexible to volunteer evenings and weekends as needed.

  • Must complete and/or sign all volunteer or independent paperwork. Independent

    contractors must complete an MOU, and W9.
